Welcome to the 3rd Supahstar Saturday! This week, Amy is our featured blogger. I’ve known Amy since 1997, and we’ve both changed a lot since then. I first got to know her on a message board for moms that we both frequented. I left that area of the internet in 2001, so we lost touch for a bit, so I completely missed out when Amy started her recovery for alcohol and food addiction. I was shocked when I saw a picture of her when I returned back to the message boards - she looked completely different, having lost over 100 pounds. I really admire her for making such a big change in her life. Amy’s always been hot, but now she’s a smokin’ hottie in her size 10 jeans. Just look at that face!

Amy is a mom of 2 boys, and works full time as a web geek. I remember back in the day when she was a stay at home mom and got a part time job at Sam’s Club in the evenings! She’s also mom to Grace, a beautiful chocolate lab. Her blog is full of good stuff, from her American Idol updates to her entries about U2.

Welcome to the 2nd Supahstar Saturday! This week, Marcus is our featured blogger. I’ve known him for a few months now, since I created the PayPerPost blogroll. I happened to find his site, and he mentioned PayPerPost, and I left him a comment. And it was the start of a beautiful friendship…

Marcus is a single guy in North Carolina who loves sports. Whether he’s watching a UNC game, the Super Bowl, or coaching youth basketball, he’s pretty much all sports, all the time. Except when he’s working, sleeping (those nights are a killer!) or attending college in his spare time. He’s helped me a ton with promoting my 3-Day site and he also got his brother to hook us up with free beer when we vacationed in North Carolina. You single girls reading this can meet him at PostieCon in June!

I’ve started a new feature over at Geeky Speaky which you can expect to see every Saturday - it’s called, appropriately, Supahstar Saturday. Each week we’ll feature a different blogger for you to write about and link to. Why do that, you ask? Because by participating, YOU become eligible to be a featured blogger, and you’ll reap the benefit of increased traffic and PR rankings. Since this is a brand new feature, I got to pick who I wanted to be the first featured blogger - Loretta did a smashing job on making me these images for Supahstar Saturday, so she got to be first! Loretta is a mom of four smart little boys. I’m sure when people encounter her on the street she hears a lot of “You must have the patience of a saint”, and “you sure do have your hands full”, so I won’t say that. LOL! I’ll just say that having ONE boy tests me, so she has my respect! Loretta also goes to Disney World quite a bit - maybe when she visits Orlando next Christmas we can get our 2 families together for a day at the parks! We have the crafty thing in common as well - just not the same types of crafts. I’m a knitter, and she does cross stitching, as well as quilting and sewing.
