Lawyers generally get a bad rap.
Some of them take cases that seem so outrageous, we wonder why the court systems put up with it. Other lawyers have to deal with clients who don’t seem to understand that breaking laws equals jail time. (I’m looking at you, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan!) I came across a legal blog and forum that not only discusses the drier aspects of the law, but the fun side of celebrity prosecution. The author of the blog, Dmity Gorin, is a celebrity in his own right, as he’s a regular commentator on Court TV. Just visit the Los Angeles Criminal Lawyers Blog | California Criminal Defense Law Forum to read it for yourself. There’s some information on the Phil Spector case, as well as helpful information, like what your rights are during a traffic stop.
(I think that Michael Righi, the guy who was arrested outside of the Circuit City in Brooklyn, Ohio, would be interested in this sort of thing!)
Cool! Thanks for pointing us to this one…
