I’ve always said that I want to visit each of the 50 states in my lifetime, and I’m well on my way. I saw this neat map on Amy’s blog last week and decided to share my own version here. The states in red are the ones I’ve been to – we took a LOT of road trips when I was a kid. This summer, I’ll be adding Michigan to my list:

Kind of odd how I missed Oklahoma, isn’t it? We went on a road trip to Colorado when I was 12, and we went out west via Missouri and Kansas. Coming back, we headed south from Denver to New Mexico and then headed east through Texas….which is why I’ve never been to Oklahoma!

I also have avoided most of the NE of the US – looks like I need a trip to see some fall colors.

My countries map is kind of lame. I’ll be adding Canada in June, but the only countries I’ve visited so far are Mexico, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France.
