Ever hear of Bollywood? It’s a takeoff on Hollywood, given to the huge number of movies coming out of India. When I took Eastern Humanities in college, my instructor used to bring in Indian video for us to enjoy once a month. It seems only fitting that there’s now an Indian version of YouTube, called AapkaVideo – Indian (desi) Video Sharing . Like YouTube, the site offers free uploads, downloads, and video sharing, but the content is very much Indian, and the site is targeted as such. You’ll find Bollywood clips, music videos, Cricket news, and more, even reports on current events. I really enjoyed watching the clips I found – they took me right back to my college days, of sitting in a darkened classroom watching videos of Bollywood.
