A few months ago, I bought myself a new laptop. You can’t get a laptop these days without getting Vista on it (unless you specially order one) so I had to succumb to Microsoft’s will and start using it. I’ve been pleasantly surprised, and haven’t had any of the issues my friends have had with software compatibility and such. The other night I needed to burn a few pictures to a blank CD and was shocked to find a build in CD burner that did just what I needed it to do.

That said, I need to burn a few CD’s for friends in the coming weeks, and I’m not sure my free Vista CD burner will get the job done. Blaze Media Pro has software with full audio and video editing and converting tools, including a MOV converter, video encoder and DVD software too. Check out the audio tools though…the powerful CD burner allows you to cache data locally to avoid burn errors (how many CD coasters have you made?) as well as quickly rearrange tracks, remove unwanted tracks, and erase CD-RW disks.

Try it for free for 15 days!

I agree I think I dislike that you don’t get a choice and the power or monopoly Microsoft still has on the industry…

I have to say…I have been looking for a good burning program. I have tried tons, but none have been great. And then I saw your review of Blaze and gave it a try. I love it! Just wanted to thank you for the heads up about the program!
