We’ve reached the point in the school year where my kids know exactly how many days remain, and they give me the updated countdown as I pick them up each afternoon. I think today’s number was 24…which means I’ve got about 30 days before:
- My kids get bored and whiny
- I’m sick of summer vacation and ready for school to start
It *almost* makes me wish for year round school with short breaks in between sessions!
