When setting one’s alarm clock for an 8am class, one should be sure that she sets the clock for a.m., and not p.m. – I was a good 20 minutes late this morning! Jim woke up without the assistance of the alarm (what is it with his internal alarm clock, anyway?) and nudged me into action. One sweatshirt, a pair of comfy pants, and a hat later, I was ready to go.
The good news is that with only 5 chapters left to go in my statistics class, I’m out of assignments until next week! The teacher only release so much work to us at a time, and I’m completely done with the 2nd module at this point. It’s not really going to be much of a break, since my extra time will be spent writing that 3,000 word research paper for religion.
In other school news, Gracie is on the verve of completing her 5th grade science fair project. She tested which brand of popcorn leaves fewer unpopped kernels. She literally popped 6 bags of the stuff today, and we’re up to our ears in popcorn! Catherine, having been through all of this with her own project, has been a HUGE help with the project this weekend. There’ll be a little something extra in her pay this week!

Yum yum, the popcorn project sounds like a great one
I have set my alarm at all the sillest times and have even resulted in leaving for work on the weekend when I worked a 9-5 mon-fri job.
that’s a great science fair project. way to go gracie.
I’ve mixed up the AM and PM on the alarm clock. Now I leave the clock setting to the husband.
I almost always wake up just a few minutes before the alarm sounds, then get my best sleep when I press the snooze button.
What was the result of Gracie’s science project? I am so tired of not getting the benefit of a full bag of popped corn.
