I was seriously thrilled at the conclusion of The Amazing Race last night, for more than one reason. First, CBS didn’t screw me over by having football on, which normally causes 60 Minutes to run late, which screws up my DVR recording of The Amazing Race. The show came on as scheduled last night - yay!
I was so happy when Rachel and TK caught up with everyone else, thanks to the floating garden opening late. Watching Jenn simmer over everyone else doing so well was fantastic, and seeing Nate and Jenn come in LAST to the pit stop was the icing on the cake. I can’t recall a final episode of TAR that will have three teams in it that I genuinely like. I’ve got my favorites, of course, but I’d be happy seeing any of the three teams left go home with a million dollars. Whereas, if Nate and Jenn had won, I would have put my foot through the television screen.
I’m not going to be home to watch the finale, so I hope they broadcast the show in [name of top secret location I'm visiting]. Failing that, I hope my DVR doesn’t implode while I’m gone, so that I can watch it when I get back.
The icing on top of Jen’s birthday cake, no less! Hehehehe!!!!! Rob and I cheered - loudly - at the end when the Nick and Don showed up on that mat instead of Nate & Jen. Awesome. And the producers totally hated Jen, too - there were a few foreshadowing moments in last night’s episode where I told Rob - OMG, they HATE her! LOL!
Ditto on the Nate & Jen departure! Now, let’s lose Chris & Ron. He’s such a jerk!
Aww, now, I have a soft spot for Ron and Chris. He’s trying, I think he really is. He’s made huge strides since they began the race.
I totally agree with everything you have said. I like the three final teams. I’m not quite sure who I want to win.
