As most of you know, I’m headed off for a vacation next week, and the temps where we’re going will be quite a bit colder than what we’re used to. I have a gorgeous new coat to keep my top half warm, but I was concerned about literally freezing my sweet ass off. Jim came up with the bright idea of getting leggings to wear under my jeans. Yeah, I know, leggings? But I humored him, and he was right! We found special “Under Armour” leggings and shirts and the like at the local sporting goods store, designed to keep you warm in colder climates when you need to be outside. I tried on a pair and they fit, even under my tight jeans. A little spendy at $50, but I’ll get a lot of use out of them next week, and I’ll hopefully be able to wear them again during the breast cancer walk this fall.

Go figure…Jim was right about something!
