Am I the last person in the world to realize that:

  • Rashida Leah Jones, who plays Karen Filippelli on The Office, is the daughter of Quincy Jones?
  • That Rashida is dating John Krasinski, who plays Jim on The Office?
  • And she dated Tobey Maquire?

Just call me clueless. For some reason, every time I see Rashida, I think of Leah Rimini, which makes me think they’re related. They’re not, I just think they are in my head.

I am a celeb geek sometimes, so I did know that she was Quincy Jones’ daughter. I get curious about people and wear out IMDB when I want to know stuff. I did not know she was dating Jim, though. Interesting!

She was dating John, but there’s no sort of confirmation that they’re dating now. Appears they have an on/off sort of thing.

And she was actually engaged to Toby. Which was weird ’cause to me, she seems older than him, but she’s not.
