Are you filled with the Christmas spirit? If a random stranger approached you, and asked you to sing a Christmas song with her, would you? I would, but then again, I don’t mind embarrassing myself to have a good time…as those of you who have met me in person know all too well. Recently, a singer / song writer by the name of Alisa Apps decided to see if she could get people to show their Christmas spirit - on film. Alisa traveled to the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, California and asked people to sing Jingle Bells with her.

Having been to the Third Street Promenade once, I know what it’s like - it’s one of the busiest shopping areas around, and it plays host to a variety of people and personalities. You’ll find residents of Santa Monica and L.A. shopping there, tourists (like I was) and people far, far away from home, like the gentleman in this video:

I appreciate that he wasn’t even familiar with the song, but he was still willing to sing along. He’s got the Christmas spirit, and he may not even celebrate the holiday!
