I just heard that someone died after riding my most favorite roller coaster at Disney World! It kind of throws you for a loop to hear that someone died on a ride on a ride you’ve enjoyed with your husband and your kids. Heck, my girls have gone on it alone – it’s not wild at all. There are no huge drops, riders don’t go upside down, and the whole thing is very smooth. I think an autopsy will show that the deceased had to have some kind of medical issue that led to his untimely death, and that Disney isn’t at fault here.

That happened with us too..that 10 year old boy on the Rock/Roller Coaster..the week after we got back last year!
WOW! I hadn’t heard about this. I’m sure there’s more to the story, but still…. I friggin’ love that ride!
Everytime I hear a “death at Disney” story I get the creepy crawly shivers down my back. There was the little boy that died after riding Mission: Space before we went, so sad and scary at the same time. One moment you’re doing something fun with your family … then the next moment the world is upside down and wrong from every angle.
