Filed Under (Buy Me!, Daily Happenings) by Colleen

As of this afternoon, and a $99 trip to Target (the first time all month I’ve made it out of there for under $100), I’m completely done Christmas shopping. Today I finished up by getting the last of the stocking stuffers I needed (Santa leaves new socks, underwear, deodorant, toothbrushes, and other useful items in our house) and it’s awaiting wrapping paper in the back of my SUV. Jim and I had a marathon Christmas wrapping session yesterday afternoon – after 2 hours, we were about half done. Ay yi yi! I’ll be finishing up the rest of the wrapping on my own I think, as his last day off until December 25th is tomorrow, and I’m sure he wants to finish shopping for ME!

My husband finished our shopping Friday night (I don’t shop) and I wrapped everything on Saturday. So, I’m done too!! Yay!!

I’m begining to think I had a rough childhood…Santa never wrapped presents. They were all just scattered under the tree Christmas morning.

I’m almost done! Need 3 more things and then to wrap!

When my sister’s kids were small, their Santa gifts weren’t wrapped either. Santa in my house wraps his stuff in a different wrap than Mommy & Daddy use :-)

I am THIS close to being done! I need to pick up a few essentials (read – boring) stuff for EP and MM and stocking stuffers. I need to pull everything out and inventory really since I’ve been buying here and there. I do know I need to go return something and upgrade. Great. I threw out the receipt by accident. What a hassle!

Sounds like Santa in your house has no clue what the kids want for Christmas ;-) Good thing Mom’s more in touch, huh?

I finished up my shopping last week … and realized after I had all but one gift wrapped that I was out of paper… and since The Husband was home and I couldn’t leave him alone with the gift, I had to use balloon paper. I realized after the fact, of course, that I could have hauled the gift back out to the car…to the store…bought paper and then wrapped…but I’m too lazy to do that now. Besides, it’s a good opportunity to tell him it’s a reeeeeeeeeeally early birthday present and torture him about waiting until August to open it!

Good job getting out of Target for uner $100! Our last trip to WalMart our bill came to $99.99…kind of freaky, but I was impressed we were under $100, even if it was just a penny. LOL!

Deodorant?

Good idea. I remember the kids as being a little fragrant.

To say nothing of Cheryl.
