I’ve been planning on hitting Overstock.com this week to pinpoint a few potential Christmas gifts for myself. I like to help my husband shop for me as much as possible, and in this case, it means not only providing him with a list, but also showing him examples online. This morning, I headed to Overstock to find sheets like the last set I bought there (600 thread count!) and found the All I Want For Christmas Giveaway! This huge promotion started today and when you enter, you can win a gift for yourself, and a gift for up to 5 friends! (Which not only makes you look like a champ, it gets you off the hook for buying gifts!)

Each day of the contest, you can win a prize worth up to $1000, and you can invite your friends to register and do the same. At the end of the contest, you get the chance to win a $5000 gift! Here’s the cool part - YOU get to pick what you want to win - anything on Overstock.com worth up to $1000! Just register for the contest, find the gift on Overstock.com and enter online…and don’t forget to enter your friends! For my gift, I selected a pair of 3/4ct diamond stud earrings, priced at just under $1000. They’re over Jim’s gift budget, so the only way I’m getting them is if I win this contest. The neat part is, I can come back EVERY day and try to win them! I also emailed 5 people (my sister Cheryl, and my friends Deb, Marisa, Amy, and Julie) about the contest, so if I win, so do they! Keep that in mind if you win, ladies! Remember who helped you with her lucky horseshoe and all that…
