Wow…only 42 days until our ski trip! I’m going to have to keep checking this blog entry now that I’ve put that widget there, so I can see day by day how much closer we get to North Carolina. This will be our 3rd time there and I really look forward to our time in the mountains. It’s so relaxing knowing that when we wake up each morning, we’ve got NOTHING to do. No appointments, no bills to pay, no errands to run, no jobs to go to…we just get to take it slow.

Did you notice the little “GO” at the top of my vacation widget? It ties into my whole North Carolina trip in fact. The Mad Gringo inside of you is the guy yelling when he gets stuck in traffic. He’s the guy who boils over when you have to deal with that jerk at work. He’s a great reminder to GO SLOW, and my vacation is going to be ALL about that. I may just needed to take along one of the Mad Gringo shirts I found with me on vacation so that I can reminded of exactly what I’m doing!
