While in Las Vegas this week, I sent my husband over to the Luxor to take pictures of the exterior and interior of the hotel. He was on a hunt for Criss Angel, upon the request of our 8 year old son. Jim didn’t spot Criss Angel, but he took some amazing pictures and I’m sorry that I didn’t get to see the inside of the Luxor with my eye two eyes! The only thing better than seeing the sights at the Luxor would be your own Egypt holidays to see the pyramids for real. Egypt is even a little bit like Las Vegas in a way – they both have a LOT of people there, and they’re both in the desert. That’s where the similarities end though. Egypt has a different kind of desert (a little place called the Sahara), coastline on the Red Sea and Mediterranean, and the Nile River. You can stay at the real Luxor, which is town located at the site of the ancient Egyptian town of Thebes, and offers close proximity to the Valley of the Kings and the famous cursed tomb of Tutankhamun. Booking through a site like OTBeach.com gives you the flexibility of doing air and hotel together or separately.
