Vegas has been a blast so far. Last night we went out and met Julie and her husband at In-N-Out, which was FABULOUS. After dinner, we walked down the strip back to our hotel, oohing and aahing and taking pictures like dumb tourists, which we are. We saw the water show outside Bellagio, which was pretty neat, and just enjoyed the scenery.
Today Jim and I headed over to the convention center for Blog World Expo, which was not as busy as I thought it would be. I walked by and looked at a few booths, but I was pretty disappointed that not many people bothered to engage me and try to tell me what they were all about. I shouldn’t have to ASK you to tell me about your product or site at a trade show! I didn’t stay for the session I registered for, either.
Jim and I walked from the convention center over to an indoor skydiving center, and paid $70 (each) for the experience of sky diving, without all of the falling and potential death. It was AMAZING! Once that was done, we walked back up (down?) the strip and enjoyed the weather and the hotels. We stopped into the Venetian and did a little gambling on the slots and had some free beers…when we left, it was only 4:30, but it was already dark out! It blows my mind.
We’re meeting some other PayPerPost bloggers tonight at 7:30 at Hoffbrau House for dinner. Should be fun!

They have an indoor skydiving place in orlando on international drive. My son went and he just loved it – we have the DVD of him doing it!
Indoor Skydiving?? That sounds so cool! I will have to look into the one in Orlando.
I’ve read several of the posts that Ted linked to. It sounds as if everyone is having a great time. Wish I were there!
I love Vegas, I never know how to figure out when there is a convention for bloggers, maybe that’s why it had such a slim showing. We should organize our own. I think we are open and up front bloggers. We could talk, talk, talk, and isn’t that what we’re suppose to do.
PS I didn’t know about the sky diving…I’d love to try it..would I get motion sick?

Sounds like a blast! As soon as you twittered the indoor skydiving, I had to go and look it up! Sounds like so much fun! But did you feel it was worth it for three minutes? I was thinking that maybe when you’re up there, the three minutes feels like a lot longer! I didn’t see flickr pics of it – did you get any? That would make an awesome header for one of your blogs! Hahaha!
