While I was looking around IMDB for information on Guri Weinberg, I decided to look up the actor who plays Frank Duque on Cane. I’ve been wondering why he looked so familiar. His name is Nestor Carbonell and he appeared on several episodes of Lost, but since I’ve never seen Lost, that’s not where I know him from. I scrolled through his IMDB profile and found what I needed…way back in the section detailing Nestor’s work from 1996-2000. He played Luis Rivera on Suddenly Susan! I used to watch that show from time to time.

Nestor also appeared on the Cosby Show spinoff, A Different World, way back in 1992. I watched that show quite a bit, but I don’t remember his two episode role as Malik Velasquez.
