Taylor is horrible! Thank god she isn’t my kid. I would be so ashamed of her. SHe comes off sounding like like a stuck up little bitch ans I’m sure her mother has told her SHE IS better than these other kids. That’s probally why she thinks it’s OK to treat them like that. I hope she’s voted off the counsel and wouldn’t mind seeing someone smackj her down also!

Her Parents should be ashamed of themselves, as the mom of 3 kids, (2 boys and a girl) I am disguested watching the way she treats others— but the good thing is the kids with her know she is acting horriable and I think in the end she WILL pay…of course as soon as they vote her off the counsel, I bet she will raise her hand to go home- weeping about being home sick… I hope her WHOLE family is embarassed of that kid..someday ‘if’ she changes she will blame her parents for the monster she was.

Just plain raised badly with a silver spoon in her mouth. If she was mine she’d get a good slap every time she opened that smart mouth of hers. Unfortunately, a child like this NEVER learns. Taylor keeps giving her age(10) as an excuse not to do anything what her excuse to treating other kids rotten, I’m sorry when I was 8 was expected to making my bed, do dishes help fold laundry, put my clothes away, and at 10 I had to clean the bathroom to. And I didn’t get an allowance ether my mom expected me to help out she always told me you don’t get anywhere not working and people aren’t going to do stuff for you back in those dayys she would of been doing that and more

I would allow my kid to miss 40 whole days of school for a lifetime experience such as this. I believe these kids are learning some invaluable lessons on this trip. Everyone likes to point out Taylor and her behavior, and I do agree it leaves something to be desired. But what people don’t seem to realize is that all of these kids are products of our nation. It’s a great social experiment. You can see the roots of all the problems we face in our world today, just by watching this show. Not only should Taylor’s parents be taking notes, but we all should. I think the program would have been a lot more interesting if the adults didn’t interfere with the kids at all. Let them build the town as they see fit, instead of introducing all of the ideas they plug in.

I agree with you about Taylor. The problem is, her parents are probably grown up versions of her and don’t see a problem with how she acts or treats others.

As far as the kids missing school, I happen to know one of these kids very well and his parents told me that the schools had to sign off on all the kids’ participation and if the school agreed to it, it was up to them on how the kids were to make up their work.

I dont think it’s ok to call a child a Bitch but give the girl 5 or 6 years and it would be ok! I would honestly guarentee her mother constantly screams the phrase deal with it as the poor girl is in tears after hours of practicing mind numbing lame talents for her pagents. Taylor is obviously the product of dysfunction and the clip that beuty queens dont do dishes should be played at her miss america competition she hopes for and for any future husband! The girl and her parents have alotto learn either they will go on the defensive for this complete emberasment & defend there childs abnoxiouse behavior or they wil take all they have seen in consideration and realize there child need to start doing alot of volunteer work and reasonable labor for a child her age….maybe do dishes every night or if she choses not to she can eat out of her hands! I can almost guarentee when this family meets Dr Phill he will have a former miss america there to tell Taylor exacly what a beuty queen dose and dose nopt do. We must remember she is only 10 there is time to save her !!!

I just watched a bunch of the Kid Nations online and I couldn’t believe how much of a bitch Taylor is. To begin, she isn’t all that cute and I was up and clapping when that one kid pogo-ed all over her sign. haha. Then she says Beauty Queens don’t cook? I can’t wait to see her now that shes not on council. I hope that Zach just totally bitches her out and makes sure she doesn’t get a star. I bet you her mom is like “Why are they so mean to her?” well, momther like daughter. haha

What really sends a cold chill down my spine with respect to Taylor is her utter lack of comprehension or concern toward anyone but herself. The girl is completely without remorse over any of her actions, and utterly mystified that anyone would take offense or issue with any of her actions or “pronouncements.” It’s almost like she doesn’t really quite think of the other children as actually being human beings. Scary.

I think the network has to school these kids while they are there. My son has been involved in acting, and the networks have to school the children for a a certain amount of time depending on how long they are working each day.

Busses come by in the summer as well. It’s possible they missed none of the “regular” school year.

Also, Taylor is totally a brat – and it just occurred to me that a brat is basically a bitch – so there you go. Her parents are probably just as fowl or she wouldn’t have ended up like that. I know I get my bitchy side from my Mom – woman has some attitude!

Has anyone ever seen the movie “Bad Seed.” Well, this little girl is heading that way. Maybe demon spawn? I think brat is a good word for a kid like her. Don’t like to use the term bitch for kids. Yeah, brat, demon spawn, bad seed, they work. Clueless, yeah, that’s another good one, since she has no clue at what the other kids are trying to get through to her. It’s sad because all of her life, she will be remembered by the CBS, Kid Nation viewing audience (some of whom will be her future teachers, employers, co-workers), as Taylor the Brat. Heaven help them.

Man! I feel so much better knowing that I’m not the only one that can’t stand this girl! Sometimes it makes me feel “petty” when I see/know a kid and I think “I really don’t like you.” But I guess it doesn’t so much matter what age a person is — if they have a personality that is not compatible with mine, then I have no reason to “like” them.

Bottom line: Taylor’s HORRENDOUS!

If Taylor acts like this in real life you can imagine her parents are 10 times as bad.
Look at some of the others on the show, they are kind, caring and giving. I’m sure their parents are very proud of them.
