Less than a week to go until the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk. Jim and I are making plans to head over to Orlando bright and early Saturday morning, and I just arranged the child care for that. Actually, Jim’s plan was to head over Friday night, but I don’t think that will work out. I appreciate him trying to arrange an hour or so of extra sleep for me. If you haven’t donated yet to my walk, there’s still plenty of time. Remember, if you donate $25 to my campaign, you’ll get a PR 5 permanent link back right here.
There’s also plenty of time for you to sign up as a team captain for a memory walk in your own hometown. My friend Cass is participating in one in North Carolina, and my friend Alli did one last week in Chattanooga.
Despite the fundraising thermometer being stuck at $105, I’m actually at $155, meaning I have only $45 left before I hit my goal. My mom came over tonight and she wrote me out a $50 check, which I’m mailing in using the donation form at my website. If you can’t pay online, you can print out the donation form and mail in a check. Do it soon though, because the walk is this Saturday, October 6th!
