I swear, I haven’t received anything that falls into the “good mail” category at all this week. I’m waiting on information from one of the local colleges, but whenever I head out to the mailbox (usually still in my jammies!) I find sales flyers and offers for credit cards. I even get credit card offers from the same companies I currently HAVE credit cards with. Here’s the other thing I don’t get - we have good credit, and about 75% of the offers we receive reflect that. We get a lot of great offers that I turn down just because I don’t need anymore credit cards. But someone must have us on another mailing list - the high rates and high APR list…and I just laugh when I get those!
One thing I wish the credit card companies would do is extend that introductory 0% APR period. It seems most of the card offers I see are for a 6 month introductory period…MAYBE 9 months. But Mint credit cards give you a 0% APR for 13 months. Are you listening, Capital One? How about you Chase? :::tap tap::: Is this thing on?
