Sometimes, when you meet people, you immediately recognize that they are as sick and twisted as you are. It’s a vibe they give off, and it allows you to feel immediately comfortable, even if you are talking about menses & pooping. When I met Tim and Mr. Fabulous in Orlando a while back, we immediately felt that bond. It helps that Tim grew up in the town I now live in, and that Fab loves my sweet, sweet ass. My sister, Cheryl, while not as sick and twisted as I am, felt like she was part of the kinship as well, which explains why we all gathered at my house yesterday afternoon for a BBQ.

Mr. Fabulous was the first to arrive, early in fact, at 1:59pm. My son appreciated Mr. Fab’s punctuality, but a few hours in the event was heard saying,

I don’t know why they call him Mr. Fantabulous. And he’s not very smart, either.

He’s 8, and if there’s anything 8 year olds do well, it’s brutal honesty. Thankfully, Fab took it quite well, and has gone so far as to proclaim my children sweet and polite, as did Tim. Cheryl, being the aunt to the children, already knew they were wonderful. (I know that many of you who go “way back” with me and have met my kids will also chime in to verify that they are indeed, Stepford Children, and not at all like their mother.)

The highlight of my afternoon was meeting Mrs. Fabulous, who is indeed fabulous for coming to a strangers home to meet people who talk to each other online. That has earned her my respect. She also said I do have a sweet ass, so I love her even more. I am proclaiming Mr. and Mrs. Fabulous to be an honorary aunt and uncle to my children, which earns them the right to babysit anytime I feel like it.

We also enjoyed making Tim blush, which he did anytime we talked about colored poop, or the Diva Cup. And yes Amy, we did talk about your Diva Cup purchase. It’s like you were there with us!

The meal was delicious (refraining from making yet another joke about how tasty Jim’s meat is!) as was the company. We finished the afternoon off with super thick brownies from Mrs. Fab and blueberry cobbler from yours truly. The next time we’ll see Mr. Fab and Tim (hopefully) will be in Las Vegas, and it will be like seeing old friends.

Here are a few pictures (a special video is coming tomorrow!). We are not as gay as this first picture looks, but we did decide that Mr. Fab is a “top”:

Totally not gay, as long as my sweet ass is in the middle:

Maybe it was the anticipation of waiting for this entry all day, but I had high expectations of being cited as the one asking for the palming of the sweet ass picture. Damn Amy and her diva cup, she can’t even get the damn thing in right!

Am I insecure and needy much?

Tim looks scared. Did you fart?

Boy, is that an appreciative look on my face as I am touching your ass or what?

Mmmmmm….

Heer husband was 10 feet away, of course I was scared! ;-)

Hahaha! I’m so glad I could be a topic of conversation at the sweet ass blogger bbq.
