« the delivery fee irks me | Back to Main Page | what do you want to be when you grow up? »

When we moved into our new house last year, the kids each got new stuff for their bedrooms. New art, new accessories, new sheets, and even new bedding. I was sick and tired of looking at bed skirts and comforters after just a few department stores, but I kept plodding on, determined to give me kids, especially my daughters, the “perfect bedroom”. I think what we ended up buying will work for now, but I know in a few years, my 11 year old will be ready for an update, and she’ll need some bedding for teens. Once you get to be a teenager, the bedding and accessories your mom picked out won’t cut it anymore. You’ve got to have something striking, fun, cool - something that will impress your friends…right?

I found this teen bedding from VisionBedding and it’s amazing. PhotoPillowInstead of agonizing over stripes or solids, your teen can have a one of a kind bedspread or comforter with their choice of photos on it! VisionBedding uses the latest technology to add your favorite pictures to pillows, dog beds, bedding and more. You can see an example of one of the layout choices here, as shown in the photo pillow. You can also use a single photo, if you prefer. The photo blanket has 6 different layout choices, from one picture to 16 pictures. Thephotos are printed on the top of the pillows and blankets on a soft microsuede, and the bottom is warm and cozy polar fleece, which makes it all machine washable and dryer friendly. If you can’t come up with your own design, they offer stock photographs and designs too, ready to be put on any product they sell.

And this isn’t just for teen bedding either - how about a dog bed featuring pictures of your favorite pooch? A blanket with photos of your loved ones and relatives who have passed away? What grandmother wouldn’t want to snuggle up with a blanket featuring pictures of her grandkids? Hmm…this could be a great Mother’s Day gift too!
