As we enter the 3rd week of school, it seemed like a good time to finally post a picture from the first day of school. In true slacker mom fashion, I completely forgot to take any pictures that morning, so I got this shot as soon as the kids got home. For the sake of comparison, you can check out the pictures from 2005 (4th grade, 3rd grade, and 1st grade) – how did my kids get to be so big?
Note Catherine is NOT wearing a school uniform. She’s mighty pleased that being in middle school exempts her from that. Grace makes her uniform as rockin’ as she can with her Converse sneakers and cool messenger bag. Matthew doesn’t care what he wears, LOL!

Oddly enough, I used to wish we had uniforms. It would’ve been so much simpler!
First day of school was yesterday for my kids. I did get a picture but….I forgot to charge my batteries in my camera. So, until I find the charger I can’t get the picture uploaded onto my computer. LOL
