I was just giving Lola some snuggles and felt a weird bump on her back leg. Upon closer inspection, I found not one, but TWO ticks. Ick! I thought we were done going through this, and in fact, I just tossed the old tick colors. Jim and Matthew are inspecting the big dog now to make sure she’s tick free. I’m not sure if they picked it up at the kennel or if it happened at home, but I think baths for both dogs are in order.

My dad had what we thought was a scab on the back of his neck when he drove into Omaha from California a few weeks back.
When I went to look at it closer, I realized that it wasn’t a scab. It was a big tick.
How exactly that tick had gotten onto my dad, I have no idea.
As far as I know, I have never had one on me. I hope to keep that streak alive!
I pulled ticks off a kid and dog in the past week. Not liking the amount of ticks we’ve been seeing at all!
