Our neighbors just had their first baby…I knew the time was getting close when I saw her mom and friends over on a Sunday, their arms full of baby shower supplies! I know it seems a little silly for me to be excited about my neighbors having kids, but it’s one of the few chances I have to get my baby fix on. I talked to the new dad the other night and he’s so proud and excited. Tired, too! I can hardly remember those days…it seems like a lifetime ago. I’m going to give them a few more days of peace before I head down there with our gift.

When I had my baby shower, we didn’t have the luxury of being able to buy baby shower supplies online. You were stuck with whatever party supplies that the store had in stock. I had decorated the nursery with a Winnie the Pooh theme, and luckily, Disney was as big 11 years ago as it is now, so it wasn’t any trouble to find a Winnie the Pooh baby shower theme. Even the Winnie the Pooh theme has been updated, from the bright colors we had in our nursery, to a softer palette. Isn’t it cute? The baby shower and bridal shower theme packs from PartyPail.com include all of the tableware, decorations, and party supplies you need to plan a beautiful shower.

Now, had I been given a shower for my son, I would have picked this Noah’s Ark baby shower theme. His nursery was painted in a Noah’s Ark theme and he had matching bedding - it was darling, just like the baby shower supplies. It’s amazing to me that the entire package, enough for 8 party guests, is only $35. How many times have you aimlessly wandered through the party supply store, grabbing way more than you need, spending too much money - and then you’re got all sorts of leftover plates and extra junk after the party? I don’t mind one little plate or napkin to save as a baby book keepsake, but if you’re still eating off baby shower plates when your “baby” is 5 - you officially over bought! PartyPail.com not only saves you time, but money too!
