The magnet school that my oldest had applied to back in January just called, and she’s IN! When she was placed on the waiting list 7 months ago, she was #36, so we didn’t have any hope of getting her in at all. I am surprised they went through the waiting list so quickly, but hey – whatever works!
The school specializes in math and science, and she’s going to excel there. She got straight A’s last year and is a big math geek, so I want her to be challenged, and I think she will be. And, her best friend is going there, so she’s pretty excited about that.

Congratulations! Our daughter finally got into the Science and Math Magnet school here in our county (Hernando). Our son was already there so having both kids at the same school is a plus. Best Wishes!
Congrats. My daughter started at Chocochatti when we lived there, and I know the magnet schools are head and shoulders above the neighborhood schools.
