A few weeks ago, I saw a post on a blog where the author totaled up her monthly income from blogging. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who it was, but I wanted to do it as soon as I saw it. I’m horrible about record keeping and had a general idea of how much money I’d made from various sources, but I didn’t have a clue on what the total would be.
For the month of July, I earned $5965.92 online. That doesn’t mean with just THIS blog - it’s the total for the 7 blogs I have, plus my husband’s blog, which I include as part of my network.
I made $3900 in brokering private deals on my blogs. With several blogs, including niche blogs, I can offer people value when they want to reach a lot of people at once. I offer a package deal to people and it’s obviously worked out quite well for me this month.
PayPerPost remains a big money earner for me, bringing in just under $1000 of that cash, and that was a slow month for me! (It was the first time I didn’t crack the monthly top 10 earners list.)
My next biggest source of income was from Sponsored Reviews. I made just under $900 with the site by bidding on review offers. I don’t feel as frantic when trying to grab offers from Sponsored Reviews since it’s a bidding system. I’m happily surprised to see I earned almost as much from their site as I did from PayPerPost!
I made $300 selling text links across my blogs through a website that acts as a broker for me.
I made $60 working with V7N, $20 from ReviewMe, and $30 from Blogsvertise.
I should mention that I wouldn’t have a cent of that $3900 if it weren’t for PayPerPost. While it’s true that I didn’t make that money through PayPerPost, I made it because of PayPerPost. Over the past year, I’ve developed my blogs, worked on PR, and even started a radio show! I started working so hard on my blogs because of PayPerPost, but it’s been a good thing all around. Because of my higher PR and niche topics, I’m more attractive to all sorts of advertisers, not just those interested in paid reviews.

Quite impressive - with both PPP and Sponsored Posts. I’ve been using ReviewMe and Sponsored Reviews for awhile now, and have been slowly testing the waters with PPP. Do you get any income from Adsesnse or YPN as well, or just sponsored posts and text links?

Thats a great month of earnings congrats. I’m inspired more than ever to put in more work on my blogs. I have yet to become active with PPP even though I joined when they first started. Pretty cool. I have to admit, I was skeptical about these programs and even wrote a post calling PayPerPost the son of Satan when I first read about it, but I think most people understand the difference between different types of blog posts — and it’s great when people can make some money off of their work. Hey, don’t newspapers and magazines do the same thing?
