I just heard about a HUGE recall of 1 million Fisher Price toys. The list is below, in the extended entry. The toys are being recalled because the paint contains lead in “excessive amounts”. (It makes me wonder how much is excessive. Will it make a kid sick? Or do you need 83 of the toys to have an adverse affect? Anyway…)

The toys were made by a Chinese vendor. Wasn’t a Chinese made toothpaste recalled a few months ago? It’s not a good year for things made overseas, I guess. Buy American!

You can return your toys and get a voucher for another toy (uh, hopefully one without safety issues) of the same value. If you’re not sure about what the toys on the list below look like, you can view pictures here at the Mattel website. There’s also a recall hotline you can call – 1-800-916-4498
