I read The Nanny Diaries when it came out a few years ago, and laughed my ass off. I am SO excited about the new movie coming out next month – August 24th to be exact. If you haven’t read the book yet, do yourself a favor and grab it before you see the movie. I plan on reading it again before I see the film. At the site for the movie (linked above) you can see a trailer for the movie (which is quite a bit longer than the snippet I just saw on TV) and get the book, should you not be able to find a copy at your local library. Scarlett Johansson will be playing the main character, Annie Braddock, and Laura Linney is the stick in the ass mom, Mrs. X.

I just love stories about crazy rich people. It’s probably why The Devil Wears Prada is a favorite of mine.
