Thanks to a big, fat, $50 donation from Brett over at Bon Pecheur, I’ve met my goal for my 3-Day fundraising! In fact, I’m $11 over my $2200 goal. I’m feeling pretty good right now, knowing that the fundraising is behind me, and I’ve got 4 months to go before the walk.
That doesn’t mean that you can’t donate anymore. But if you do, I’ll be putting it towards my sister’s account for the walk, instead of mine. Cheryl and I walked together last year in Philly, and she’s walking there again this year. She’s been busy with a family medical emergency (cancer related, no less) and hasn’t been able to devote any time to raising funds lately. Kind of ironic that cancer in the family is keeping her from fundraising for a cancer walk, eh?
She is less than $700 away from her goal now, and could definitely use your help.

Just wanted to say thanks to those of you who jumped on this, as well as everyone else who donated.
As of today, I met my $2200 goal, a full 4 months before the walk! I ended up $11 over in fact!
