Even though today is Father’s Day, we celebrated last night. Jim has to work all day today, so it made sense to do things with him last night. We had a fantastic dinner at home (steak and shrimp) and the kids gave him homemade cards. We gave him a new polo shirt, a book on how to play craps (he wants to play while we’re in Canada next week) and I gave him an IOU for getting his car windows tinted once we come back from vacation. After that, Catherine suggested that we go out for ice cream - it was a really nice little family evening.
