I’ve been DVRing The Wonder Years on Ion for the past few weeks, and letting my kids watch the show with me. I remember watching the show when I was in the 8th grade, and my kids aren’t much younger than that. We’re up to the point in the show now where Kevin Arnold is in high school, and last night’s episode featured him trying to convince dear, sweet Winnie Cooper to go “all the way”.
I do not remember that from the first time I watched the show!
Actually, the show seems a lot racier than I remember. There was the episode where Kevin and Paul got their hands on “Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex (But Were Afraid To Ask)” and the sex ed episode with Coach Cutlip. I guess I blocked all of it out, or I watched it without my parents. I’m going to be previewing the episodes from here on out and making sure they’re a little more kid friendly before my kids sit down to watch them.

heh - I hear ya! I’ve been DVRing Roseanne and I swear I don’t remember the show being so much about sex. There are other shows and movies that this happens to me with, too.
You’re right, Roseanne is another one! I watch that from time to time in my den while I work. I don’t remember all of the S-E-X. LOL!

Talk about coincidence. I agree. : P
I loved the Wonder Years…Beverly Hills 90210 is prohibited in our home even when I was already 16!
