On my way home today, I hit a big backup, where there normally isn’t one. Having no other choice but to sit through the traffic, I turned off Sirius and started scanning stations looking for an update. The traffic was bumper to bumper for a good ten miles, on a stretch of road without an lights, and few exits and on ramps. When I finally got close to the source of the backup, my jaw dropped. No accident, no ambulance – just a single state trooper, on the shoulder, giving a ticket to a guy on a motorcycle.
That’s it.
And the shame of it is, this is a common issue in Florida. People rubber neck and back up traffic for miles and miles! Idiots.

No, that’s California too. Very annoying.
I just love that… tickets are not that fascinating!! Now, when they have the people out of their vehicles and spread eagle on the squad car, that’s something to look at!
Chicago too. This reminds me . . . I have to write a post about 7 million cop cars on my street last night
I have lived in four different states and everyone thinks their drivers are the worst. The sad truth is that most of us (hopefully not me) are average drivers and everyone seems to rubberneck. Annoying
I hate when it’s something stupid like that. Usually the killer here is merging from like 3 to 2 lanes or something, and people are idiots and can’t do it one by one…people push and squeeze to get in, and backlog the road!
