This week flew by. Tonight, Jim and I are going to an awards banquet. He’s getting an award from his employer for having over 20 years on the job. Kind of amazing when you stop to think about it – he’s only 37, and he’s been at the same place for 22 years, working his way up. That’s almost unheard of these days. I’m mixed on attending the event – I’m excited and happy for him of course, but it’s one of those things where I’m not going to know anyone, and there’s going to be a lot of talk about work…and I don’t work there!

Yeah, this is about hubby. I would totally go and support him, this is huge, not many people stay at a job for more than 4 years these days, 22? That’s awesome.
Dress to the nines, be there for him and don’t worry about not knowing anyone else. You know him and he sounds like a great person to know.

Spend the eveing asking about their new “Pay for Performace” deal….THAT will ge t you noticed….LOL !!
