I found out this week that Dustin Diamond (Screech from Saved By The Bell) and Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady of The Brady Bunch) are on this season of Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. The show takes sort of has been types who have packed on a few pounds and splits them into teams. It’s sort of The Biggest Loser for celebrities. They have a boot camp instructor to get them sweating, and everything is supervised by Dr. Adam Carey. Dr. Carey has recently recommended a diet pill called Proactol, and there’s a great diet review about it here. Now, celebrities are always endorsing things, but this one intrigues me…because the endorser in question is on a current TV show working with people losing weight, and he’s a real doctor. Interesting.

Anyway, the review for Proactol is also interesting because it gives the pros and cons, and it’s not full of hype, like some reviews for diet products that you’ll find online. This reviewer points out that the customer support is superb, which is good to know upfront.
