You may think you know all 50 states, but when you’re asked to make a list, and given 10 minutes, you may be surprised at how much you forget.

Can you name 50 states in 10 minutes? I got all the way to 45 in about 7 minutes, and then remembered 2 of them, but I was still missing 3. I mentally ran through geographic areas in my head…vacations I’d taken, and remembered one more with 3 minutes to go. Hmm…2 states to go, and less than 3 minutes. One more came to mind, and I had 2 minutes left. 1 more, 1 more, 1 more…

The first 2 I remembered were Alaska and Hawaii. Duh! Then I realized I forgot Utah. (Shame on me, I’ve been there). Down to 2 – realized I left out Nevada. (Haven’t been there, not my fault). Last but not least, I remembered Wisconsin! How did you do?
