So I’m calling around today making plans for my son’s birthday. We’re going to have a little party for his friends in the neighborhood. My mother opened her mouth last night about getting a moonwalk or one of those inflatable water slides, and of course, he loves the idea. I’m not loving the price – $200-$300 to rent one for the afternoon. Bleah! But it would keep the kids occupied, and out of my hair, and OUTSIDE for the length of the party, so it’s probably worth the money in the end. I need to measure a space in the yard to make sure we’ve got room, and then the hose and an outlet have to be within a certain distance too. This thing is so huge – you can’t exactly pop a battery into it…LOL! It needs to be plugged in to inflate, or they hook it up to a generator.
