My good friend Jennifer was nice enough to tag me for this Technorati faves experiment. It’s designed to increase a bloggers Technorati link count, and favorites, and introduce you to a few new blogs along the way. The more bloggers that link to you and fave you, the better chance you’ve got of being noticed by others on Technorati and in the blogosphere, and baby, I am ALL about being noticed. The instructions for playing along can be found below.

Edited to add: If anyone wants to be tagged – let me know and I’ll put you under my “new adds” list!

***Start Copying Here:***
Here are the rules:
1) Fave all the blogs on this list.
2) Write a short introduction paragraph about how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.
3) COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of your blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.
4) Take all of the “My New Faves” from the blog that linked you and add them to the “Original Faves” list.
5) Add up to 5 more faves to your “My New Faves” List along with a link to fave them. (You can just copy and replace a url from the other ones so you have the link and don’t have to hunt down the blogs on Technorati.)

Colleen, great blog you have here!

I joined this train earlier for my business blog (andreasbard.com), and I was amazed to see the results. From only a few links and people adding me as their favorite I dropped like 35 000 in ranking and it improves all the time now.

Good luck with this one!

Just wanted to say thanks for the add-on. This really does work, I started off with I think 4 or 5 and now have 85 people favoriting me. Congrats again!

Sorry for sounding like a complete dork, but what does it mean to “change the titles of your blog” in rule 3? Not getting it, altho I’m hitting my head on my desk….

You know what…I posted my comment under the wrong post. So I decided to put it here instead. Do you have any other ideas as far as other types of ways to get people to add you as a favorite? Thanks for your help.
Congrats on your success.

P.S. If I could be added to this list that would be great!

Technorati Faves at MomReviews.net on 23 April, 2007 at 10:17 pm #

[...] I was tagged by my friend Colleen for this Technorati Faves experiment, started by Maki at DoshDosh. The idea is to help bloggers increase their Technorati link count, by adding and trading Favorites links. The more bloggers that fave you, the lower your Technorati ranking is, and the lower, the better. It’s also a great way to find new blogs and even new friends. If you would like to add me to your Technorati faves, click this link here, and if you would like me to add you, let me know and I’ll put you on my “New Faves” list! And, if you want to play along, here’s how it goes. [...]
