Cass tagged me with a meme about habits for success…and I’m supposed to talk about mine. What success? I’m assuming blogging since that’s what Cass and Suni talked about, but I don’t really consider myself a success. I’m lucky, and I’m having fun. I don’t blog to become a success or consider it to be anything more than a good time, and something in the here and now.
It’s true that I’m successful at paid blogging, but I work at that, and it doesn’t come easy. I blog on days when I don’t feel much like blogging, and I work hard at what I write, and the companies I review. I’ve earned every dollar I’ve made, and yes, I’ve been lucky to get a few big dollar offers, but I’ve written about things for $5. I don’t have an incredibly high pagerank, but I do have a lot of traffic, and that’s the result of blogging here for 4 years. I’m thankful for every single visitor I get. Success? I don’t think this is about success…
