This morning Jim left early to drop the dogs at the kennel so we can head out of town. It’s kind of a hike, now that we’ve moved, but we really like the kennel, so it’s worth the trip for us. It’s just a bit of a pain loading up the car with the dogs, and the dog supplies and making the trek. What I really love about our kennel is that they let our dogs board together in one cage, and they give us a discount for doing so. Not only does it save us money, but I know our dogs do better when they’re together like that. It’s lonely being in the kennel all by yourself!

As for me, I’m waiting for him to return, and I’ve just wasted an hour or so online. Oops! I still need to take a shower, pack, run to the store for a birthday gift, and I know a few little other errands will pop up between now and noon.

Tonight we’re doing dinner at Victoria & Albert’s at the Grand Floridian, and other than that, we don’t have any plans for the weekend. We may visit a theme park, we may just veg by a pool all day.
