My best friend is this guy:

That’s my husband, Jim and I, in August of 1994. Before marriage, before the kids, back when we were young and still good looking. HA! I had just turned 18 and he was 24. We were on our way out to dinner and stopped at a friend’s house in Clearwater, and she took this picture of us out by the pool. He looks sort of like Tom Cruise there, eh? (A young, sane, not whacked out Tom Cruise)

We were married in 1996 and we’re celebrating our 11 year anniversary on Friday. (Yes, Friday the 13th). This guy has seen me at my best and my worst, and he still likes me. He’s fought with me and made up with me and I haven’t scared him off yet. What more could a girl ask for?
