When you go out for the night, and leave your husband in charge, you may come home to find odd things. Subtle differences in the house, and the children. For example:
Wet sneakers laying in driveway
Bike in grass to side of driveway
2 scooters in driveway
Once I got done moving wet sneakers, the bike, and the scooters, I went inside to find:
9 year old on couch watching TV (10:30 at night)
Extra child in bottom bunk bed - not my offsping. Covered him up, and sent 9 year old to bed.
Oldest child missing from house, at sleepover. Figure as long as I still have 3 children in the house, it’s all good.
Last but not least, snoring husband in my own bed.
Eh, he’s cheaper than a babysitter.

This must be a guy thing. Left me daughter with my hubby for several hours while I did a lia sophia jewelry show. There was no drawing on my hallway wall when I left. The next morning I have a nice drawing that I can’t make out. Hubby swears he was watching her, and she must have done it when I was home and not paying attention!
I’m still giggling from this post. I think it was the child inventory that did me in lol
ROFL…love the “he’s cheaper than a babysitter” part!
