the last mimzy

I took the kids to see The Last Mimzy tonight. My advice? Wait for this one to come out on DVD.
I think someone was smoking pot when they put the screenplay for this movie together. Not only were there weird holes in the plot (why didn’t Noah need his glasses anymore? It was never explained. I’m assuming the Mimzy thing gave him perfect vision? No clue though) it was sort of draggy, and slow…and then a ton of stuff happened in the last 20 minutes.

As my son said when we left, “That felt like 3 hours.” And it was only a 90 minute movie.

I heard it sucked. The kids and I saw the trailers and were totaly cinfused and thought it would suck.

I went to see that with my mom friday night. When it was over I looked at her and went, “E.T. much?” and she totally agreed with me. But then again, E.T. was far better in storyline.

I loved the bunny tho. I want one now. :D

Thanks for the review, my kids have been begging me to see this one. I’ll wait for it to become DVD now. :)
