My walls seemed destined to remain bare. Despite 2 trips to the mall, and several other stores around town, my husband and I can’t seem to agree on what we want to put on the wall in our family room and our foyer. We know what we want – some sort of metal scrolly candle thing. HA! But the problem is, every store we go into has just a few of that type of item – so we trudge from store to store, trying to find exactly what we want, but really, we just get more frustrated. My friend DonnaLeigh pointed me to a site online a week or so ago, but I only just looked at it today. Wouldn’t you know it – the site is full of things I love? I searched for a candle sconce and found a whole PAGE full! The prices are great – I saw similar items in the mall that were close to $100. (That’s probably why my husband didn’t “like” anything in the mall – the price tag!)

I love how the site has arranged things into categories, like “long wall decor” and “large wrought iron decor” – that makes it SO much easier, especially for me, since I’m trying to pick something out for a very long, blank family room wall. And I found candle centerpieces for the dining room table too – love it! I saw something like that in a catalog for a lot more money. This wall panel? Love it. Exactly the look I wanted!

I am SOOO emailing a link to this site to Jim – I’m actually excited now about this home decor thing, now that I found what I want online. Makes me wonder why I didn’t just listen to DonnaLeigh when she suggested this days ago!
