I just realized I never did my Survivor recap for the new season. As usual, it’s hard to get a feeling for how the season will go when there are SO many new faces at once. Did you catch Jeff Probst saying that one person dropped out right before the show started filming? Nuts. The stand outs for me so far are Rocky (rowr!) and the architect – was it Sylvia? Interesting how they had her pick teams. I also thought it was an interesting twist that the whole group helped build the shelter and then only half of them will use it. I don’t like the fact that they are giving people so much to start off with though – it’s more fun when that is earned!

I think the pimped out beach is a total disservice to the show. It certainly should give that team and advantage. It’d be nice if the rewards were which team gets the nice shelter.
I was beginning to wonder if everyone’s name was going to a nickname, and that would be a twist in the game like they all went to the same high school. 
The whole premise of this season’s twist (i.e., the “Haves” and the “Have nots”) is to determine if having a nicer camp equals playing better, I suppose. I think it will be interesting. Looks like maybe an injury this week too huh?
