There’s a big real estate slump in our area, and with home sales kind of slow, you’d think real estate agents would be really trying to do their best to impress clients and customers. I regularly look up the listings for homes in my area, especially the ones in my neighborhood, and I am usually not impressed. Bad photos (one I looked at this morning appeared to be taken in the dark), minimal descriptions – no pizazz. And with the market the way that it is, real estate agents need to do everything they can to draw buyers in and impress them. If a house doesn’t look good online, you’re not going to bother to ask to see it in person. If it looks good online, but doesn’t show in person, you’re not going to bother making an offer. You need to have marketing materials that are of good quality, and provide information to your buyers in a clear and concise way.
Real estate postcards are an excellent way to alert buyers on your “hot list” or people in the area of a home you’ve listed to that new listing. Don’t even think about making an open house flyer if your Word skills aren’t up to par – people will notice that and they won’t accept you as a professional business person. A homemade looking flyer says “I didn’t put a lot of money into this. I do it as a hobby.” If you stand to make several thousand off the sale of one house, you can’t NOT afford to promote it in the most professional way available, be with with a custom designed flyer or postcard, or a ready made template. Razzle Dazzled hopes that by putting their best foot forward, they’ll be able to help you do the same.
