If you’ve been following my iPod saga over at GeekySpeaky you’ll know that I had no luck finding something to play the iPod in my car. Boo hoo! I’ll just have to suck it up for now - at least I can warn people from buying those FM Transmitters now, since I’ve tested (and disliked 2 of them!)

There are still plenty of iPod accessories I’ve got my eye on in the meantime, and I was looking at a few tonight over at a site called Your Electronic Warehouse. They were recently honored as Monster Cable’s E-Commerce Retailer of the year, so I decided to see what they have to offer, and surprise, surprise, I found something that Santa can bring me next year!

This is it - the Pioneer Universal Dock for A/V Receivers. You can hook this baby up to your receiver and play your iPod through your home theater speakers! We have 5 in-ceiling speakers in our family room, and 2 more on a seperate zone on the lanai. Instead of playing a CD or the radio during a party, I can just hook the iPod up, hit shuffle, and call it good.

Jim, make a note for Christmas 2007!
