Anyone reading this blog knows I’m addicted to a few things – Coca-Cola, the internet, reality TV – I guess I should add radio to the list. I can’t ride in a car without listening to the radio, be it music, the weather, or talk radio. Now a Chicago radio station is going to turn take a radio program and turn it into a live webcast. WSCR 670 (The Score) has teamed up with Nology Interactive – Web Design, Hosting & IT services to make radio history. The event will be 12 (!!) hours long and will only be accessible at www.670thescore.com.

Why is this exciting news? Because if one station does it, the rest will follow suit. I’ve got no interest in listening to, or watching a guy like Howard Stern, but wouldn’t you turn into a webcast of your local morning show? I think it would be neat to watch your favorite radio DJ’s in real time!
