I’ve come to the conclusion that depiste my high maintenance personality, I’m a low maintenance when it comes to upkeep. Take my nails for example – when Sindy was visiting, she needed a manicure, so I decided to get my nails done too. I NEVER paint my nails, because it frustrates me to try and get it just right, but I figured I’d let a pro do it. A few days later, and my OPI “I’m Not Really A Waitress Red” was chipping off. I decided to give it another try, and went to a different salon and got a french manicure. No tips, no silk wraps – just polish. It started chipping away on vacation, and here I am – a week later, nailpolish half chipped off. I bought some nail polish remover at Wal-Mart, but it’s not making a dent in this industrial strength polish. (How come it would chip off, but acetone can’t take it off?) And I’m not motivated enough to go BACK to a salon just to get it removed.
So there you go. High maintenance personality, low maintenance everywhere else. Well, at least my fingernails are.

I cannot imagine upkeep on my nails. Here’s what I do. When they get white on top, I clip them almost to the pink part.
I liked i’m not really a waitress red so much when I went back I bought a bottle from the salon. Then my daughter “borrowed” it.
